Sheree Metzner is Vice President, Controller at Cypress Office Properties where she oversees all aspects of financial and tax reporting, including financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, financial reporting and presentations, tax return preparation, and other financial and compliance functions. Prior to joining Cypress, Sheree spent 17 years in the real estate investment and construction industries, primarily with WCB Properties, where she handled all financial and tax reporting and analysis, loan compliance, budgeting, and cash flow analysis. Sheree is a CPA (inactive) who practiced public accounting for 15 years, primarily with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Newport Beach. Sheree received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accountancy from Western Michigan University.
Senior Associate, Property Operations
Lauren Cimino is a Senior Associate in Property Operations at Cypress Office Properties where she supports the property operations team. Lauren received her Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis on Communication from San Diego State University. After completing her undergraduate studies, Lauren spent the next four years working in property management at some of Southern California’s largest commercial real estate firms including Colliers International and Cushman & Wakefield.
Senior Vice President, Asset Management
Matt Panebianco is Senior Vice President of Asset Management at Cypress Office Properties. Matt has over 24 years of experience in asset management that has included the oversight of office, industrial and retail product. Prior to joining Cypress, Matt was Vice President of Asset Management for Locale Advisors, a value-add real estate firm specializing in the creative repositioning of office assets in San Diego. Prior to that, Matt led teams of real estate professionals with a few firms, including Colliers International, RREEF (a Deutsche Bank company), Transwestern and Qualcomm Incorporated. Matt received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with emphasis in Finance, from San Diego State University.
Vice President, Construction
Mike Rijstenbil is Vice President of Construction at Cypress Office Properties where he leads the company’s construction efforts for tenant improvements, redevelopments and renovations. Prior to joining Cypress, Mike spent 7 years at The Irvine Company where he performed construction management services for the firm’s San Diego office assets. Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Arizona University, where he played soccer and was a snowboarding/skiing instructor in the winters. Mike grew up in the Netherlands and later moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, before moving to San Diego in 2009.
Vice President, Leasing
Chris Circuit is Vice President of Leasing at Cypress Office Properties where he oversees the marketing and leasing of the company’s investments. Chris has over 13 years of office leasing experience. Prior to joining Cypress, Chris was leasing manager for The Abbey Company on their San Diego office portfolio. Prior to The Abbey Company, Chris spent 7 years at CBRE where he leased office and industrial properties throughout San Diego. Chris received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Brigham Young University, where he played 4 years of varsity baseball. Chris is a native San Diegan and an alum of La Jolla High School. In 2015, Chris and his family were contestants on the Family Feud game show. They dominated the competition, winning five shows in a row. Watch out for Chris and his family as the show regularly re-airs.
Associate, Asset Management
Ashley Ivy is an Associate in Asset Management at Cypress Office Properties where she supports the asset management team. Ashley is a graduate of the University of San Diego where she received her Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate. During her undergraduate studies, Ashley worked at Keller Williams within their commercial real estate division. Ashley is a volunteer with Girl Scouts of America.
Vice President, Acquisitions
Bob Brittingham is Vice President of Acquisitions at Cypress Office Properties where he focuses his efforts on the sourcing, underwriting, capitalization, due diligence and closing of the company’s investments. Bob has 14 years of professional real estate experience which includes: investment/asset management of office, industrial, and retail, acquisition and development of multifamily assets, and brokerage and lending. Bob received his Bachelor of Business Administration and his Master of Science in Real Estate from the University of San Diego.
Vice President, Property Operations
Athina Singer is Vice President of Property Operations at Cypress Office Properties where she oversees all aspects of property operations including property management, loan administration, dispositions and other functions of property operations. Athina has over 14 years of commercial real estate experience. Prior to joining Cypress, Athina handled all aspects of acquisitions, land development, leasing, and property management for a Southern California-based real estate development firm. Athina received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of San Diego.
Mark Wayne is a Co-Founder and Principal of Cypress Office Properties. Mark has over 29 years of experience in the advising, marketing, leasing, sale, and repositioning of over six million square feet of office properties. Prior to forming Cypress, Mark spent 20 years with San Diego based Burnham Real Estate where he guided local and institutional owners on existing product as well as ground-up development. Mark received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with emphases in Real Estate Finance and Entrepreneurship, from the University of Southern California. Mark is an active member of the Urban Land Institute.
Ron Lack is a Co-Founder and Principal of Cypress Office Properties. Ron has over 29 years of experience in institutional real estate acquisitions, asset management, development, and dispositions of office, R&D, flex, and retail properties. Prior to forming Cypress, Ron spent 20 years with several real estate investment companies, primarily with Newport Beach-based WCB Properties, overseeing investment portfolios ranging in size from one million to five million square feet in most major markets in the West and Southwest. Ron received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with emphases in Finance and Real Estate, from California State University, Fullerton. Ron is a LEED AP, and an active member of the Urban Land Institute.
